The VOYCE is my regular gigging band which features the fabulous vocal stylings of Joyce "The Voice" Allensen along with the dynamic rhythm section made up of Jeff Germain on drums and Gord Grand on bass. Check out our website - www.voyce.ca

My main man on guitar and one of my biggest influences all round is the late Rory Gallagher. I only saw him perform once and it was the most sincere, powerful and just down-right rocking show I have ever witnessed. In my own performance I always think of Rory and strive to meet his energy on stage. As one of his songs so succinctly states - They Don't Make Them Like You Anymore... There are several excellent websites on the internet dedicated to Rory, the first being the "official" Rory Gallagher site, Rory Gallagher.com, along with Kimmo Hagelberg's and Volker Grupe's great sites.

Uriah Heep were one of my favorite bands of the early 70's with those great songs like Gypsy and Stealin'. My pal, Bernie Shaw, has been Heep's lead vocalist for 20 years now and Uriah Heep are hugely popular world-wide, having toured in over 47 countries. They were the first western rock band to play a string of sold out shows in Moscow in the former Soviet Union. Check out the official Uriah Heep website, brought to you by Dave White and friends.

Long time friend Nancy Ruth has had a very interesting career as a professional rock and jazz vocalist. She has previously performed for the likes of the Royal Family of Brunei. She released her debut CD last year, which included back-up vocals by rocker Lee Aaron. The CD continues to receive rave reviews. Check out Nancy's wonderful web-site and experience one of the best vocalists in the western hemisphere!

A long-time friend who also happens to be a great guitar player is my old buddy Don Peterson. Don and I worked together many years ago in the band Slingshot. Presently Don plays in Hot In The Shade as well as 7th Heaven. He has 2 CD's to his credit with his recording band Messenger, which has picked up an appreciative audience in Europe. Take a gander at the official Messenger site.

Bill Johnson's promo goes something like this: Bill Johnson may be one of the top blues guitarists north of the border, drawing comparisons to Ronnie Earl and Albert King with his highly emotional and unique style. Well, I couldn't agree more... Bill is a great guitar player as well as having a wonderful blues voice. You can check out his lofty credentials on the offical website for his very own Bill Johnson Blues Band.
