Jimmy Thackery records with Boz Roz!

After waiting for just over a year until their schedules finally brought them together, international blues guitar icon and Telarc recording artist Jimmy Thackery and Boz Roz met up at Hellfire Studios in Vancouver after Jimmy's show at The Yale and Jimmy laid down several smokin' lead guitar tracks on the new Boz Roz song F.O.G. Blues.

"Traveller" Released to European Market!

The new Boz Roz song Traveller, featuring Uriah Heep's Bernie Shaw, has been released to the European market as a downloadable MP3. So far, we have had a very strong interest in the song and have also had a lot of nice comments from Europe... here's one:

Excellent Rock-Song. Buy It! Bernie Shaw at his Best. Great Guitar and Keyboards, Fine Rhythm. Exzellenter Rock Song. Sehr empfehlenswert, holt ihn Euch! Etwas für jeden Heep Fan! Anspruchsvoller Rock. Gute Keyboard-, Gitarren- und Rhytmusarbeit!
Karl-Heinz Baier

Work on CD #3, has begun!

The recording will feature new material by Boz Roz,
along with some very special guests including:

Telarc Recording Artist
JIMMY THACKERY
I am excited and honored that my colleague,
Jimmy Thackery, has consented to play on my new CD.
Jimmy Thackery is considered one of the finest blues guitarists working today.
He has over 10 albums to his credit and was recently featured on the cover
of premiere blues magazine, Blues Revue, as well as a feature article
in the January 2004 issue of Guitar Player magazine.

Canadian Guitarist Extraordinaire
JACK SEMPLE
I first saw Jack play on Much Music's "Guitar Warz" in 1993, where Jack
beat out over 1500 guitarists from across Canada. Shortly afterwards I met
Jack at a gig in Vancouver and have corresponded with him ever since.
An amazing player and great guy!

Uriah Heep's Lead Vocalist
BERNIE SHAW
My good buddy Bernie has been Uriah Heep's vocalist for
the past 17 years! He has a great, powerful set of "pipes"
and it is my privilege to have him sing one of my songs!

The Amazing Vocals of
JOYCE "THE VOICE" ALLENSEN

Cowichan Valley's Harp Master
SHAKEY REAY SUTER

The "ICE" Man of the Keys

Soprano's Bar & Grill

Boz Roz and friends had a great time hosting the afternoon jam. This time around, the band played a number of songs from the upcoming CD, as well as jamming with our friends Bernie Shaw, Ray Luxemburg and Helen Davies.
Bernie and Helen got together on stage for a rip-roaring version of Zep's "Rock 'n Roll"!

Joining Boz Roz for this gig was Henning Kanstrup on bass guitar,
Lawry Rugg on drums and Ivan Elieff on keyboards.
